April Steele | Child S.H.A.R.E.
April joined the staff of Child S.H.A.R.E. in 2008 as Executive Director. April’s passion for children in the foster system developed as a practicing attorney who represented abused children while they were in the custody of the state. Seeing a tremendous need for safe and stable homes for children, April shifted her focus away from legal advocacy and towards organizations that were working to find and support foster and adoptive families. Her experience as a small business owner, children’s advocate, pastor and lawyer uniquely suit her to lead the organization. April holds a Bachelors in History and Political Science from LeTourneau University, a J.D. from Gonzaga University and is a licensed minister in the Church of the Nazarene. She is wife of one, mother of two and spends most of her free time watching old movies or doing laundry.

Harmony Dust is the founder and Executive Director of Treasures, a Los Angeles, CA, based nonprofit organization (outreach and support group) for women in the sex industry.
She has been featured in various media sources, including Glamour Magazine. She is a sought after speaker and her memoir, Scars & Stilettos has been published by Lion Hudson. www.iamatreasure.com

Mr. Kiefer was born and raised in Europe. He now lives in Burbank, CA with his beautiful wife and two kids. Aside from leading a media production company he is very active at the Oasis Christian Center in Los Angeles. Sandra Morgan, RN, MA | Global Center for Women and Justice
Sandie Morgan is the Director of Vanguard University’s Global Center for Women and Justice and teaches Women’s Studies, Family Violence, and Human Trafficking at Vanguard. Sandie recently received a grant to further address violence against women in Northern Iraq through a partnership to integrate women’s studies at Duhok University. She recently served as Administrator of the Orange County Human Trafficking Task Force in the battle against the modern slave trade. As a Registered Nurse, Sandie served on the Board of the International Nurses Association in Athens, Greece where she lived for ten years. It was there that she discovered human trafficking while doing a story for Lydia Living magazine and working on reducing violence against women. Sandie continues to serve as Founder/Director of the Lydia Today Foundation (www.lydiatoday.org) and Live2Free, a youth mobilization initiative against slavery (www.live2free.org). Sandie guest lectures in universities, community groups, and churches and is presently pursuing a PhD in Intercultural Studies. Sandie has been interviewed by the LA Times, the OC METRO Business Magazine, the OC Register, KOCE – Real Orange, Today’s Christian Woman, and other media. Developing community grassroots awareness is critical to ending slavery. She partnered with other members of the OC Community to produce an awareness video, The Cost of Demand, which can be viewed at www.live2free.org. Changing the way we think about the forces that drive demand for human trafficking is her goal. She says, “The modern slave trade is a business fueled by demand. Consequently, to some degree we are all part of the problem or part of the solution. We contribute to demand by turning a blind eye to pornography and sex tourism or by making choices that reward companies that keep their bottom line under the rest of the market by the use of slave labor.”
